A recent EVO reported about a 575 CS. Any truth? Will it make it to the US? Any sense on pricing? I am seriously considering a 575, but a 575 CS would push me over from thinking to doing!

(I am into raw cars, my daily driver is a GT-3 with a single mass flywheel and Europipe exhaust. My fun car is a GT-3 Cup Car for the track!)

    Thanks!

I doubt that it will come to the US. Why not buy a 550 and turn it into one. I bet is is cheaper and would be a fun project car ala Prodrive.

    That's a thought... take a 550 and mod it.

Problem is I would end up with a "bastard" that I couldn't sell. I also don't really want to tinker with it endlessly.

A 575 Stradale has been mentioned at least twice by italiaspeed - I missed the Evo piece.

I DOUBT this car will be made. That 575 M Maranello Convertible is gonna be the last horra for the car before the new car comes out in a year or so IMO.

    Hello Clubracer!!!.
I doubt it as well. I think the 575 is ok in terms of performance, who is going to pay an important figuere of money for only drive a bit more kph lets says up to 330kph.

Kepp your gt3 with europipe exhausts. I have a friend that also has a gt3mk2 with europipe exhausts and its incredible!!!. And also what a better car than the gt3 for the track! A 575 in track will not do the same times as the gt3!!!. In terms of sound (sorry all), but I like more the porsche sound than the 575 sound. On the other hand the 360modena sound is better than the porsche 911´s sound!

Well I definitely will not be selling my GT3mk2!

    The short blurb in EVO:

"Ferrari is also planning a 575 Stradale. It's much like this year's 575 HGTC but even more extreme. EXpect to see it at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show in March".

    Must be the truth! :)
