The 550/456 share several features of their fuel tank/pump design and benefit from a once over given issues with ethanol mixed gasoline and rubber degradation (See https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/will-it-dissolve-two-month-anti-vibration-pad-ethanol-test-results.689128/)

I know the 575 set up is much more robust, but in terms of preventative maintenance, are there particular parts of the system that should also be updated?

I assume it has a similar problem with rubber components degrading overtime.

Has anyone done a fuel system overhaul on their 575 beyond the usual fuel filters at the time of a major?

    thanks

The fuel pump covers crack just like the other models, but there is an updated cover that has given no problems. Fuel system is quite different from the 456 and 550 with the filter incorporated into the pump and no composite pump carrier to break down. The 575M also has a returnless fuel system. So far on mine, one cracked fuel pump cover and no other leak problems. Injectors did require cleaning to cure the double start problem caused by leaking injectors.

Thanks! Looks like 239818 is the updated part number (x2). I will pull my carpet cover and do a visual inspection of the covers and see how they look.
