I am interested in this 575. Does anyone know it? Has anyone dealt with this dealership before? All thoughts and comments greatly appreciated. Used 2002 Ferrari 575 Maranello for sale in Naples, FL | Naples Motorsports, Inc.
I am sure Kubes gave you the info you were seeking but to add my 2 cents... Ths car was meticulously cared for by its previous owner, I have seen this 575 at the local C&C and is a no issue car. Good Luck!
I saw it last Saturday. It looks nice. I did not drive it. I think the major was done recently and it was posted on Fchat.
Looks very nice. Aluminum calipers were repainted yellow, but they look perfect with correct decals. Not sure why they put 5W-50 in her at the last fluid change (should be 5W-40), but no big deal in Florida. Well equipped with the options you would like to have. Low miles, too.
She's had 5w40 in her since I've owned . Not sure why Algar used 5w50 weight ? Yes I had Bradan remove and paint the calipers yellow last March . I always loved cars with yellow brakes ??? All pictures of my major service are on there threads . I wish I still had that car .
Andrew- They did a great job on the calipers and I painted my red ones yellow, too. What car did you get in trade?
I bought a 2009 F430 Scuderia , but , it has red calipers , yellow tach though , 5000 miles , perfect car , Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alpina, was down in Naples a couple weeks ago and visited this dealership and Blackhorse Motors which is just a few blocks away. Between them they have 3 or 4 nice 575's. Ron @Naples Motorsports seemed like a decent guy and their cars were typically very clean. Actually spent most my time looking over what I think is the Scud that Lolaf1racer may have traded for, a beautiful car. Andrew, I am curious how you are liking the Scud, coming from the 575. Bill FL
THE SCUD is amazing , its so different from my 575 , its hard to put into words, its instantly fast . Its raw , its sick - the car I bought from Naples is close to 100 points , I have been all over it every night , cant find any flaws . They were great , this was my 2nd purchase from them ( Aston Martin DB7 ) Love the sound , the shifting is so much faster , But its not going to blend in with the crowd . I think the SCUD is quite flashy & draws alot of attention . I am really loving the new car . I took a 2 hour drive to Harrisburg,Pa. it was insane , with about 10 other cars . My 575 was perfect in every respect , just different . Alot has changed since my 1982 308 gtsi and 1990 348 ts . Just had the Car at Algar Ferrari for a fluid change and Naples paid the bill . Couldn't be happier . I have no connection with the seller .
thanks to this amazing forum, I was able to obtain the contact information of the previous owner, and I was able to talk to him today. After speaking with LOLAF1RACER (previous steward of this Maranello), I made the decision to buy it! I traded my 2007 997 turbo for it and I am very excited about the transaction. I have been looking for a nice, reasonably priced Maranello for almost 2 years now, so this is the culmination of years of research, looking, and dreaming. This will be my first F car and I think I bought the right one. I will post pictures when she gets to Denver.
Congratulations, know you will enjoy her. Assembly Number 46120, IIRC. Andrew- Two totally different Ferraris, for sure, and both have their stong points. Beautiful Scud and great color combination.
my car had a full Braden service/reconditioning/detail last year. I'm pretty excited to say the least: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/bradan/361350-bradan-575-major-service.html
Congrats! You picked out an impeccable car -- you'll have to share impressions once you've had a chance to drive her. My 575 was sad to see her sister leave the Philly area, but sounds like she found a great new home! Cheers! Dennis
Kubes, thank you for taking the time and effort to put me in touch with Andy. Talking to him on the phone sold the car for me. He was an absolutely impeccable owner. He told me on the phone, and I quote, "want me to text you a picture of the trophies I won with it?"
Well... I'm just a little reticent. Granted, Darren comes across as a nice guy, but he withheld information from me about a car I was considering. After challenging him on some curiosities in the service history, he admitted that the car I was looking at (VIN: 130079) had been in an "incident" where the prior owner ran off the road into some bushes requiring a repaint (note, that specific service was not included in the history, and as it was paid cash was never reported to the insurance or carfax, etc.). Ultimately, I found a thread here (link below) which had a picture of the damage but that picture had been deleted. After reaching out to the person who had posted the picture, I received a copy and realized this "incident" was more of an "accident" and I walked away. You can read more on the ordeal on the "other" site -- search for "Black Horse Motors" or the VIN above in the "Pre-Purchase Help" thread. Here's the thread I was pointed to on FChat: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575/301658-looking-any-information-02-575m.html
I remember seeing a blue 575 being repaired at a local shop in Naples. I remember at the time it had a three exhaust tip system. Owner ran off the road or some story like that. So Darren picked it up and tried to sell it?
that was not the only one. a red car had issues also...... and that is just 575 cars... i don't pay attention to those v8 so called f cars
She arrived this week and is one of the nicest examples that I have ever seen...and I have looked at many over the last 2 years. I want to thank the previous owner for reaching out to me and making me understand that this was a show winning concourse level car with meticulous Braden maintenance. After my one hour conversation with Andy, the previous owner, I did the unthinkable--I bought it from the dealer (where he traded it in) with no inspection whatsoever. That proved to be the right thing to do. This example is indistinguishable from brand new. My usual car detail on "new to me" pre-owned car takes 2-3 days. I detailed this one in two hours. There wasn't a single hologram, scratch, or oxidation spot anywhere in the paint anywhere. For the hell of it, I clayed it, lightly polished it with fine cut Menzerna, and waxed it twice with Wolfgang carnuba. I didn't have to do a single spec of paint correction. The interior got a drink of leatherique and that was all she needed. Well that's it. Here she is in my garage. Custom cover goes over her tonight and straight to the dealer for fresh fluid change next week. No need for timing belt, because Braden did that 8 months ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
