Hello gents, need to prevail on the brain trust to solve an issue Ive just encountered. On start up the other day, spontaneously the power on the radio went out, the trunk lid display showed as open despite being closed and working normally and, more worryingly, the indicators arent going on though the hazards are working fine.. I cant seem to find a common thread. Any advice appreciated..

We don't have any wiring diagrams for the 575, so your guess is as good as ours. However, it does sound like the 575 is wired up similarly to the Ferrari 360 (in relation to turn signals and radio). There is a common fuse on the 360. The fuse supplies power to the indicator stalks. That's possibly why the Hazard Switch is working, but not the turn switches. As for the trunk lid indication, I'm not sure. That may be a separate issue. For Ferraris of this era, power is usually supplied by the instrument panel for trunk/frunk lid indications, so there may be a switch issue (on the fuel lid). I wouldn't think it would be an instrument panel issue.

Check all the fuses with "radio" labels. I couldn't find one specifically for turn indicators.

F46? Are your mirrors* and cigarette lighter working?
    F27?
F28 is labelled "+30 direction indicator timer", so I guess that is one source of power for the turn signals. The "+30" indicates it is live battery power. You'd probably need that for your hazards, so that should be ok.

Would you be able to post a photo of your relay panel cover decal (if the 575 has one?). Sometimes these decals offer clues that the manuals don't.

(*EDIT on the 360, the mirrors also share a common fuse with the radio and indicator stalks. If your mirrors are also not working, my money is on fuse 46).

If your fuses are ok, try swapping relay 17 (key operated devices) with, say relay 19 (horn)... assuming they have the same power rating... and see if anything changes. Just a wild, uneducated guess :D

Were your trunk lid indications ok, too?

The fuse in question took care of the indicator and stereo. But the trunk lid is a different fuse that keeps shorting when I try and replace it.(F30).. Will update as things unfold

    Thanks for the update.

I see the fuse is labelled "luggage compartment, ceiling and door lights". I guess since your luggage compartment release is working, that they must be referring the luggage compartment lights.

I guess you're going to have to run around checking the lamps and lamp assembly wiring for shorts. I see there are door lights at the ends of the doors and underneath the doors. They seem to be held in by screws, so not so difficult to get to.

You can swap the fuel door and trunk switches and see if it is a switch problem.
