Since this is a Ferrari forum, the Porsche gets vetoed :)

It appears that many feel the 550 is a much more stiff and raw car, while the 575 is softer and more GT-like.

It depends on your driving preference. Drive both and you will decide instantly which one is for you.

The 550 is a classic, and with some minor modifications its a faster car than the 575.

...actually never expected to see a 550 and a dp 935 mentioned in the same sentence!

But, having a 550 now, and had a dp years ago......go for the dp. it's so crude, raw, and downright dangerous (esp. compared to a 550!!!!!), you should have the experience. If you survive it, then get a 550 and relax.

BTW, theres a dp for sale from a UK dealer in the current issue of Octane mag. (rhd though.....)

    DP!!!

i have an andial built 930...there is nothing like these cars and a proper dp is a fantastic machine.

we still call your choices a high class problem!

Ok, I'll ask. What is DP? The only reference I know is, well, its not appropriate for this forum ;-)

I have also had both a DP and 550/575..So different that you can not really judge them together. The 550 is so different, you will have a difficult time with this..Go with this 550/575 there is nothing I can find that I do not love about the 550/575.

The DP is very dated IMO..

just keep the F512 M, the last boxer...as fast as a 550, more raw, more beautiful, better investment...

My opinion: which car you want depends on what you are going to do with it. Are you going cruising on long wine tours with the wife? Get the 575. Are you going cruising with the wife but want a sporty edge for a spirited drive now and then? Get the 550. Are you going to go for an adrenaline rush on the weekend or an evening drive? Get the 935.
