Bob- Very, very early 575M, Jan 02, only the third imported to the US and three of the big options, calipers, Daytonas, and rear leather shelf.

I do not keep histories on 575Ms, only tech data, but maybe Carbon can help.

Bob- Reasonably priced 575Ms move pretty quickly. Wonder if it was anybody here? At any rate, thanks for cluing me in on one that I could add to my small data base in the technical thread. This one proved all US 575Ms came with the 5 year Kevlar belts.

Sold for 66k! Sounds like a great deal for someone if it was a clean car which it appeared to be.

I know this car. Looked at it a while back and passed up u buying because of a less than favorable pre-purchase inspection. The Autocheck report indicates an accident and the inspection confirmed and found structural damage, replaced parts, and extensive paintwork

Funny... the ad points out "clean carfax". I'd never trust a report over a PPI... wonder if this sale went through.

I am the owner of the 2002 575M, VIN # ZFFBV55A020126971 and noticed some inaccurate things being said about the car on this forum. What is correct is that it does have a clean Carfax and a clean Auto Check report. There is no mention of any damage or repairs besides a window replacement in 2007. The vehicle was closely inspected when purchased and no damage was ever observed. All of the service records are also noted as they are on the Carfax. I am not sure what car one of the bloggers is referring too. His statement about what it sold for is absolute nonsense. His inspection is nonsense. I have the Bill of Sale showing what I paid when I bought this car over 3 years ago. It is nothing close to that price. In my 75 years, I know Ferrari's. I have owned over 125 of them. This car is magnificent. It has the Daytona seats, calipers, and upholstered rear package tray.

Thank you again Taz for your accurate thread. It has all the tools, service records and Sticky Switches No More.

The internet is a wonderful tool that is often colored by incorrect statements represented as truth. Every keyboard turns into an unfiltered fact factory. The car has never been painted, anywhere. It still has the original factory paint sticker on the front cross member. The vehicle has never been damaged.

Copies of the CarMax and Auto Check report can be found on the website of the dealer who is selling the car for me as well as many images of both the top and bottom of the car.https://automaniagp.com/vehicleDetails.php?Maranello-575M-175

This car will go to the next owner, who will perform his/her due diligence when buying it rather than relying on “he said, she said” silliness.

This is a very nice early 575M with the good options. Dealer description has the normal mistakes copied from other ads like larger brakes, better weight distribution, 19" wheels (not even available until around SN 130xxx), etc, but the rest is a very accurate description of this particular 575M. Argento Nurburgring really suits the lines of the 575M and this one looks great with the red calipers.

Taz what do you think of this one on ebay with a salvage title asking $89k whats a good value for this car? Its a gorgeous low mile example, I just saw it now https://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-Ferrari-575-F1/253402622998?hash=item3afff92c16:g:7FkAAOSwODFac1fP&vxp=mtr

No idea on the value, but unless you plan on keeping one forever (we say we will, but never do), I would shy away from one with salvage title. Flood damage is scary because you never know what got corroded down there that will end up causing problems that are very difficult to analyze.

Flaming good deal, perhaps worth the risk, like the $50K 550 that sold here. Otherwise, you have to be braver than I am.
