Anybody know if it's O.K. to use front rotors from a 575 on a 550?
they have different part #s but seem to be the same size.
    Thanks,
    Bill

I checked with FNA and they would not commit :
I have discussed your query with the Technical Department at Ferrari North
America. The position from the technical area is that Ferrari cannot
recommend changing a car away from standard specification. The only testing
Ferrari has done is on the parts that are standard fitment or on genuine
accessories that are Factory approved. These parts are the only ones that
    Ferrari North America can recommend.
    Best regards,

Bill is interested in a set of 575M rotors with less than 5000 miles I picked up for a very low price. I now no longer need them because I am fitting MovIt ceramic brakes. Here is what we know about the 550 and 575M commonality: both 330x32 mm front rotors, 310x28 mm rear rotors and both, obviously, for the same hub pattern of 5x108 mm, wheels are interchangeable. Can think of no reason why they will not work, but am not 100% sure. The 550 and 575 use the same 4 piston Brembo calipers F&R, too, the only difference being one rear caliper piston on the 550 is slightly smaller than on the 575M.

Where are the teeth the ABS system uses? The two cars do have different generations of ABS, but all the aftermarket kits I see for rotors and brakes say they work for both the 550 and 575M/SA.

Sounds like you got some equal measurements. Next check to see if hub to rotorface offset are the same and rotor thickness are the same and hub diameters are the same. Baring all that you may just have to try them on the car and see.
