how come the 575 doesnt sell as well as the 360s? why does it seem that people will pick a 360 even if they have the money for the 575? does it cost more to maintain/repair? i mean if i had the money i'd go for the 575 over the 360. its faster, higher top speed, and more exclusive. plus they have the v-12. why are they second to the 360/430?

I think the 360 just looks a little sexier/exotic . No doubt you could make the case the 575 is an all around better car however. Budman

360 is the more "in" car to have to most. BUT I'd take a 575M anyday, faster, V12, more usefull....and IMO better looking....watch in a few decades how the Maranellos will be in high demand....look at the Daytonas! As much as I love the Mid-engined V8s, the front-engined V12s are CLASSIC Ferrari.

360 looks like a ferrari, sounds like a ferrari, the engine is in the right place. some people like that better.

sounds like a ferrrari? does the 575 lack the shriek at high rpms that the v-8s have. do you know anywhere where i could get a sound clip of a 575 and one of a 360. also, didnt enzo once say something like the horses should pull their carriage not push it.

    Everything you said is BACKWARDS.
A classic Ferrari has long hood, short trunk lid, is V12, not V8 powered and has the engine in front of the driver.
As far as sound, while I love the F V8 sound, a F V12 sounds even better....

I went from 2 360's (coupe and a spider) to a 575, and I could not be happier. There is nothing like the sound of the V12 when it starts up. If you hve the dealer open the baffles on the stock exhaust the sound is even better. It takes abit longer to learn to throw the 575 around a curve but once you do it is amost as good as a 360. I will probably get another spider at some point but I will never sell the 575.
