Does the stock 575 Skyhook Package vs. the Fiorano Handling Package use the same Calipers? They are Brembo, correct? Anyone know the Brembo part number?

I'm hunting for a metal brake pad shim that I can use with the Fiorano Pagid Pads. I think a metal silencer shim between the back of the pads and the pistons will help with cold stop squealing. Anyone know if the Fioriano Handling/Pagid pads have a metal shim backing on the Pagid pads?

    Thanks!

The calipers are identical and there is no shim.

    Thanks!

Are there any manufacturers producing different compound pads for this caliper that include shims? Is this a Ferrari specific caliper made by Brembo, or does Brembo have other applications for this caliper?

Guess I'll start by contacting Wilwood and Brembo.

Anyone have a list of pad manufacturers/compounds available for this caliper?

Making a bit of progress with Brembo and Pagid today..

Anyone know which Pagid compound is being used with the Fiorano Handling Package?

    Thx!

    Hey Stephens,

Thanks, yes def a 4-4 Orange.

Am talking to Pagid, they think there may be shims on some of their other pads. The 4-2 Blues def look better for the street on paper.

Have you seen a Blue Pagid before?
Do they have shims adhered to the black of the blue pads?

Anyone have experience with Fiorano/Pagid 4-4 Orange brake dusting? Blue 4-2's? Anyone try the Brembo Ceramic street Pads for this caliper? They say 'improved braking over OE and less dust' but provided no data on their pads.

    Thx!

I have always used the 4-2's on the street. Great pad, very little squeal. I use RS 14'sand 15's on the track.

Cool, the 4-2's sound like the ticket.

Are the 550 and 575 Calipers the same front & rear?
Do you have the 575 4-2 Pagid Part number?

How is the dust on the 4-4 vs 4-2 vs OE?
Is the Pagid 4-2-1 the OE pad?

yes the caliper are the same.
The pad is type no 1427 front and 1203 for the rear, part no depends on the compound you select. Any Pagid dealer can help you with this.
Pagid gives much less dust than standard.
I can't remember OE, but it isn't Pagid for either and they changed pads between 550 and 575 along with using a bigger brake booster on the 575. Both OE pads are garbage IMO.

Cool. Keeping the thread public for future reference.

Do you have any links/referrals for best place to buy Pagid pads?

Ever try any of the PFC street compounds? Is the PFC Z Pad made for this caliper?

Is the Brembo ceramic street pad/'low dust' just average? Sounds like that one might fade under hard runs.

    Appreciate the help!

Yes have used the PFC race pads, they don't modulate anywhere near as well as the pagid, which far and away have the best brake feel IMO.
