So they are making a barchetta version of the 575 and apparently they are making a Stradale version. www.italiaspeed.com reports that it will be a 575 Challenge Stradale which of course doesn't make sense since there is no 575 challenge series. Anyways if anyone else has information on what we can expect or any speculation please post here. I think Italiaspeed is quoting 540hp for the Barchetta but who knows.

I don't see it there. Was this in yesterday's online issue? If you don't mind do a cut and paste as some people aren't subscribers.

You and others keep quoting "lukewarm". I have heard the exact opposite, and I am in the target market. 550B was NOT useful, this thing should be. I'm trying to get to NY in next few weeks to look at it further.

And as for "massively overweight", it is a GT, and is a hell of a lot more comfortable and less annoying than my 360S was. Race cars aren't for the street anymore, and track cars don't get tracked enough in my neighborhood. CS is a nice car, but sacrifices aren't worth it. Stuck in traffic or construction in a 12 vs a CS is moot.

I saw the Pebble Beach car and thought it was fantastic, unlike anything else on the market. The "Berlinetta convertible" moniker made sense because of the car's hardtop/open air split personality. I also hope to get to NY and see the production version.

I've been hoping for a "true" 575 GTC Stradale, and would order it sight unseen, but the italiaspeed story is the only mention of such a car, at least that I've seen. It's getting very late in the game to offer a new 575 iteration and, I wonder whether the development costs would be prohibitive given the small market for such a car. The HGTC package delivers a lot of all-around enhancements; could a Stradale version strip out enough weight and add enough unique features to justify itself?

    Texas!
Will, I also saw the car and liked it. I'm not even into drop tops! But, then again, my opinions and $2 will not even buy you a cup of coffee.

There is a rumour that prodrive in the UK will be making a road legal lightweight Maranello for a ton of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$s

Delighted you guys like the SuperAmerica, it is aimed at the US and middle eastern markets, so I guess La Ferrari got their marketing right, once again! Enjoy it if you get one!!

Those seats are incredible. That change only would really transform the experience of the Maranello. Much sportier. Wonder how much for a set?

I'm currently downloading 5th Gear's latest review of the 575 with GTC handling pack. I'm looking forward to watching it.
