I am the muppet who sold an RC/Beige RHD 575SA HGTC F1 with 1900 miles in 2014 for £195,000 !

Just didn't respect the car, wibble wobble scuttle and horrid gearbox but has cost me a fortune !

Correction. I believe that RM Sotheby's manual SA currently has 550 Barchetta-specification carbon seats fitted to it.

I can't find part numbers for the Barchetta carbon sports seats (they don't appear in the regular 550 parts catalogue) but they would appear to be related to the later 575M carbon sports seats.

The Barchetta seats feature a ribbed seat cushion and seat back design that is similar to what you see in regular 550's whereas the 575M carbon seats are rather plain in comparison.

The obvious differences between the 550 carbon seats and the other two is that the seat belt anchors pass through the leather of the seat cushion side bolsters on the 550 seats whereas on the Barchetta and 575M seats, these anchors pass around the outside of the bolsters... Also the openings on the seat back to allow harnesses to pass through are trimmed with plastic (or carbon?) inserts on the later seats but these openings are just trimmed in leather on the 550 seats.

Some good close up shots of regular 550 carbon sports seats here..

A gated manual SA with race seats but no FHP or HGTC. Hmm.

The lack of FHP isn't going to put anyone off here. If a Rosso over Nero LHD manual SA appeals, you can't afford to be choosy.

There's always the Swiss manual Grigio Silverstone HGTC low kms car. Buy it now for CHF1 million LOL!

P.S. For anyone seeking originality, my guess is that it wouldn't be too hard to find someone willing to trade a set of mint condition Nero 575M standard or Daytona style seats for those Barchetta seats!

The linked car is not F1 but 6M and currently 1 of only 4 known manual 575SA in Argento Nürburgring worldwide...

Does anyone know the s/n of a Giallo Modena over full beige Leather 575SA by chance, which seems to have some sort of connection to Ron Tokin?

To the best of my current knowledge, it could be only the second yellow 575SA (leaving the unique yellow-blue one from Phil Bachman aside) in the US...

If so, please post or pm!

    Thanks in advance

Sorry about that F1/6M confusion there. My mistake.

Regarding Giallo SA's in the USA..

I found this video of a car that passed through Naples Motorsports in 2012. Giallo over what looks like Charcoal with Rosso brakes.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63QhEbnxDXc

Then there is the Euro spec. car that EVO magazine had on the launch in 2005.

Giallo over (possibly Charcoal again?) with Giallo brakes.

This is one of currently two known 575SA, which have been resprayed to Giallo Modena - both surprisingly in the UK...

Yes, this is one of the two currently known yellow 575SA in the US...

A very early car and probably the first finished in Giallo Modena. The car is now in Switzerland on Ticino plates, though offered for sale recently with racing seats...

I suppose it depends if the putative purchaser were planning to actually drive it.

Which one are you referring to?

Are you suggesting that the RM Sotheby's car is undriveable because it lacks FHP or that the Swiss car is undriveable without destroying the (as yet unrealized) ultra low kms premium?

FHP is not as big a deal on Superamericas as it is on early 575Ms, because of all the updates to shock ECUs, shock absorbers, shock absorber mounts, and steering position sensors made to late 575Ms and all SAs. HGTC, obviously, is a big deal for the CCMs.
