Going through the spare bulbs in the tool kit, I have noticed that there is a 6W bulb (an Osram 64132). The Owner's Manual lists the bulb types on page 5.14, but does not mention this one. The Workshop Manual does mention a 6W bulb, and says it is for a "Spot" light. I am trying to work out where on my car is the "Spot" light. To me, a Spot light is an auxiliary light on the front of a car, but I do not have one on my 575M. Please can someone tell me what this bulb is for. Thanks Richard.
I found some bulb discrepancies between the owners handbook and my EU spec car. See below linked thread. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575-sponsored-bradan/494692-575m-main-beam-bulb-options.html
Thanks for this information about headlight bulbs, as I was wondering if the HB3 60W was incorrect for UK models. We now know it is an H1 fitting for UK (and EU) models. It also seems strange that the Tool Kit does not contain a spare headlight bulb, as that would surely be the most critical one that would need replacing. If anyone still has an understanding on what the 575 "Spot" light is, I'd be interested.
To me it seems like it can be a replacement bulb for the chart reading lights inside the car in the roof?
I believe F456M is correct. Section 5.14 refers to a 'Luce plafoniera' or 'Ceiling light bulb' but refers to it as a '10W'. This isn't really a definitive bulb type but in section 2.4, you see reference to position 33 'Plafoniera luci spot' or 'Ceiling spot lights' and section 2.2 confirms the location. P.S. Section 5.14 is US centric including references to the twin filament P21/5W bulbs (that are used for the rear turn indicators, (e.g. flashing red lights) and brake light functions but for which the translation is given as 'Rear dipped' ! This section also refers to 'Low beam' lights being the HID lamps (for which no spare is carried) and 'Front dipped' lights which is another translation error as these W5W bulbs are of course the front parking lights.
