Kudos for doing this. I suspect the the "value" of the car did not really change much, I'd point to Daytona Conversion Spyders as an example, but its desirability has I just need to find someone to convert my 3 pedal to F1. Best, dsd
Hi do you still doing those changes? I'm looking to do it in my 575, can you let me know if you still in the market or if you have any suggestions? Thank you
Any of these I have seen always have issues.. not sure of the shop specific to each though.. proceed with caution.
Well, by now we've converted eight 575s, a 612, a 456, a 430 and three 599s. None of them have issues. They all look, operate and drive like they came from the factory that way. One client had us convert his 599 and then his 575. We also serviced his 550. Yes, we are still doing gated manual-shift conversions and you are welcome to come to our shop and see the results.
I’ve done my due diligence and have only heard good things about the cars that Wil has converted. With that being said, there are other shops (some quite popular) with mixed reviews.
Wish I had either of you here. Just tried to change out the AGM battery in my 575M, and I am not strong enough to pull out the old battery. Guess I am getting old.
Taz: Abram at Eurosport in Hermitage is a great guy and does very good work, if you decide you want to farm out some of the usual maintenance.
Thanks, I already use Jonathan at German Motors in Nashville. Battery died completely after only 7 years of never being on a charger except while at the shop. If you drive them, they do not need a charger.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, isn't it? Every race car I ever owned had to be modified so I could get my 6 foot, 2.5 inches to fit in there. So, did you fly F4s? Back in 69/70 I always jealously watched them streak over us, fast and low.
Wil- Mostly F-111s, but also a few sorties in F-4Gs and RF-4Cs. Also flew in the F-16D and F-15D in the backseat since I was a WSO. Some of my large friends that had F-4 back seat time I could not believe they fit. My head was banging the canopy with the seat full down.
The Waco float plane used in opening scene of Indiana Jones belonged to a friend. Rode in it a few times. Open cockpit on water is an interesting experience.
