hello all, Ive just found this forum
I'm after a full wiring diagram for a 2002 575, bought the workshop manual of us ebay but no diagram unlike the 550 manual which had a full diagram.

car will not start, no ignition lights (alarm light goes out ok)& blows both of the motronic fuses as soon as you plug them in

surely theres got to be a download somewhere any ideas ?

    cheers andy robinson (UK)

The first place to try when you own the car is always Ferrari.com. Registering it there and poke around 'My Car' for documentation to download.

Won't Ferrari.com only yield the correct owners manual ?

    Good luck on this "quest"!...

I went thru similar (*major*) pain getting this for my car - I believe they're only available on CD-ROM, and you need a dongle plugged into your 'puter in order to open said CD (!) - Once you do get it open, it's actually very cool as it has "interactive" diagrams that you can click on and it opens, eg, the connector detail etc.

Now, how you go about getting the CD and the dongle is another question that really can't be answered here - Hopefully you have a tame tech close by that will let you use their copy?

I think the whole thing is complete and utter BS - At least once the thing's out of warranty we should be able to get this info for free, but man they make it difficult.....

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - The other thing that's almost unobtanium is the Motronic pinout - Finding this was another major PITA, and from what you said you're going to need that as well - Good luck!

hi ian, im currently trying to buy one of these dongle type things, then maybe send ecu's away to get checked over.
suspect somebody may have put jump leads on car the wrong way around ??? cannot not think of any other reason for the car to have problems like this

Unfortunately, no one on the forum has any diagrams for the 575. It may be best to find out which ECU is fitted to the 575 and see if any other Ferraris share the same ECU. Then look for diagrams for that.

    e.g. Ferrari P/N 191997 Bosch 0273004527 Bosch 5.3

Looking at the ABS connector on the 575...

It has the same strange pin configuration as the Ferrari 360.

Of course the relays and fuses will be in different places, but maybe wiring layout is similar?

    Here's a 360 diagram:
