I hope someone can help. I left my 575 on a battery tender for two and a half weeks and now it will not start. the F1 gear display shows a blinking N and the engine will turnover for a second and stop and will do that repeatedly. It seems that it will turnover and stop based on the blinking N. Any ideas, or suggestions before I have it flat bedded to Ferrari?
    Thanks in advance.

hum? how old is the battery? they will go dead if old even when on the tender. Not sure the tranny would affect the ability to start. did your alarm disengage? they will not start if the alarm is thinking it is activated. check the battery before you spend the money on a tow, the batteries in these things will do strange things if they are low. I had a very similar situation ealier this year discussed in the 575 section and my tranny would not get out of gear and was blinking. It affected the ability to start eventually and it turned out all it was a dead battery. mine had been on a tender for a few weeks as well.

+1 and caution on operating with a dead or very low battery...It can do strange and permanent things to the electronics.

Ain't that the truth. My guess is a dead battery. Do NOT try and jump it. A new battery only cost about $100 bucks. A new ECU is not worth it, nor is the tow. Check the battery. In a 575 it is kinda a pain in the ass as you need to remove a few things. You will have to move the coolant resiviour but do not have to drain it. I will be happy to walk you through it if you need, but it is quite straight forward. It takes a do at homer about 45 minutes, but is worth the pain of a tow and blown ECU. Just follow your instinct and it will come out. Be careful not to drop any of the screws as they will fall down on the tray, and that is really a PITA.

Either defective maintainer or battery. If you know the maintainer is working replace the battery.

Almost every 550 and 575 that I checked when they came in the shop had LOOSE battery terminal clamps. Make sure they are CLEAN and TIGHT. If found loose, correct and try charging the battery. Make sure you have the battery load tested after charging and not use the "car" as the test device. If the battery is more than a few years old safest bet is to get a new one.

Well, I am glad to say that everyone's advice was right on. Nothing but a bad battery. Interstate MTP-91 even came with a handle, so putting it back in easier than taking it out. Thanks again.
