Does anyone have an opinion on these good or bad?

I think my dipped headlights are awful, so bad I'm discouraged from driving the car at night. Main beams are fine but the xenon dipped units seem to cast a pretty paltry light, certainly compared to that from my Lexus.

There's a certain amount of condensation gets in under the perspex headlight covers on wet days which might be partly to blame but I was also wondering whether the xenon bulbs deteriorate over time; my car is coming up to 3 years old. The car is due a service shortly so I could get them changed then if that's the case.

    Any thoughts?

If memory serves, you don't replace the bubls, rather the whole unit. Also, something else sounds amiss as these units ususally don't go bad. It might be the voltage source for the lights that is at fault. These lights take way more power to turn them on than regualr lights.

You can replace the standard halogen bulbs with xenon-compatible bulbs from a company such as Hoen which I highly recommend (http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog2.htm), or you would have to replace the whole assemblies for actual Xenon with firms such as -http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8 or http://www.purexenon.net/servlet/the-Promax-HID-Kit-cln-5000k/Categories.

Pure Xenon has more Ferrari experience.

Eitehr way it's definitely worth doing.

I have used the Hoen's on a few cars and did my 360 high beams with their bulbs. They are fantastic.

My Superamerica had lousy headlight alignment when delivered. The Xenons do NOT auto-level like every other Xenon I have. Try dialling them up a bit too when changing bulbs. Not hard to do, check manual.
