Earlier today i saw a 575 advertised on ebay with buy it now price of $25,000. Now I know the dollar is cheap at the moment but thats unheard of. Anyway emailed the guy in holland, and here is reply...

    Hello,
I have to tell you that the car is in US at my brother...
the price is so low because the car it's stolen from Europe....
If you really want to buy...contact me asap, the car has all the papers and you can drive it within US....but we'll figure all the details if you decide to buy...
    waiting your reply if you're interested........it's a 2003 model

all you have to do is to make a 3000$ deposit at western union to
whatever name you want on London, UK...for me to make sure that you want to buy...and for you to make sure that the money won't leave.
after i'll check the transfer at western union, i'll give you all the
details you need: location of the car and you'll meet my brother and
    figure
the paperwork...if you'll decide to buy it you'll pay the entire
amount to my brother and get your 3k back from western....

And what about the M3 & M5 he also sells on Ebay. Or that cars also stolen? If so, he is selling 3 stolen cars at the same moment on Ebay?
I think a normal guy would: first not sell a stolen car on Ebay and second if he does, he wouldn't sell them all 3 at the same time?

You should ask for a s/n. So we can try to see or this car is really stolen.

It looks like Old Guy was totally right about how the seller works.

I saw the item on ebay but it seems to have been removed. Not there now.

Someone mentioned he had two other cars. I remember that too so its the same car.

Doody- whats the story behind the scam? ive not come across it before.

saw the ad last weekend here in usa ebay. emailed the guy, he returned same instructions. i told him he can get 28k cash if he wants just call me at my phone number at the office. he only wants western union deposit, told him he was passing up a good deal, more cash just call, waiting for his response. we will see where this doesn't go. he wanted money sent to UK. since you are in UK you should be able to meet him. bet he won't do that.

The guy is one international scamster. The car is in US, ebay location says the seller is in Netherlands, wants the money to be sent to Uk, and if im not mistaken his email is spanish. Hmmm i think i might just pass this offer by!
