So, still nothing about Jim's car, but here i have something for you all: http://www.zagato.it/pdf/zagato_ve_uk.pdf Plus, a teaser pic directly from Zagato official website, the very first pic of the Ferrari 575 GTZ. Sorry, but the pic is very small. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
From these small photos, the car is very pretty. The rear window line is terrific. But what is a 575 GTZ?
The new Ferrari 575 Zero by Zagato will be officially presented on Sunday 23rd April 2006 at Villa Erba (during the Villa d'Este Concours d'Elégance) in Italy. The car is based on a 575 Maranello. Two have been built so far, a black and a grey one. See photo below from the Geneva motor show press kit. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice. A typical Zagato. Here is a screenshot I took from a film at the Zagato-site: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Which press kit was this? The CD which Andrea was handing out didn't have any image of the new car...
Although a bit early to say, I think this could be way better looking than the 599. I mean by a lot. Glad to see Zagato get back in the fray as Pininfarina Ferraris are drifting a bit I believe. Thanks for the report!
Yeah, but you can take it. Like I said: Some of you are gonna love it. Some of you are gonna hate it. But none of you are gonna have it. Ain't life a female dog? Dale
Well, you didn't look exactly then. NOT on the CD itself. Inside the cover/cardboard. Check it out again, may be you tear off very carefully the inside silver plastic over the cardboard, but very carefully, then you'll find the photo on the left side. The kits had already been printed for the GVA show when they received the NO for the showing of the car at the GVA motor show. Guess WHO said no to show the car at the GVA int'l show?? Marcel Massini
True! See my weblog for more new images of this beautiful new Zagato. http://spaces.msn.com/michielmobiel/
The backend of that 575GTZ seems to closely resemble the back of the DB7 Zagato, but then i guess that's probably Zagato's trademark.
I apologize for my lack of knowledge about this car. Who commissioned the car, and who will be the owner(s)? Will additional cars be available for purchase?
As did I. This is getting a bit off topic but as to the Zagato, is it just the photos or am I not seeing the traditional Zagato double bubble roof? I wonder if my classmate, Nori, designed this one. He's been responsible for a lot of the recent efforts from Zagato.
This thread and 2 links in it answer most questions. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96688&highlight=ZAGATO+575 Perhaps a mod could break off this Zagato stuff from Jims thread... Simon
Marcel... Do you know the serial numbers of these two cars...? Do you have pictures of the black one...?
