I am a little confused as to what the differences between the models is. I know that the M HGTC has bigger brakes (ceramic) and different suspension set up along with a sports exhaust. But what is the difference between a H GTC and a 575M Fiorano.....? Any ideas what H GTC stands for...?

I'd stay away from the ceramic brkaes. They are more head ache than they are worth. Steel rotors are cheap anyway. I believe that is what makes up most of the big price difference between the two packages.

what do you base that statement on, codered?

the actual collected data on this board suggests that ferrari's ceramic brakes (as opposed to porsches ceramic-composite brakes) are pretty damn non-sucky in terms of usage and long-term wear. sure they're ridiculously pricey, but beyond that there doesn't appear to be any huge downside (like on the p-cars).

are the maranello ceramics different than the enzo and cs ceramics?

Jaz - to try to answer your question, the GTC handling package is named after the 575GTC racing car, and H = "handling." I believe that the GTC package includes the suspension refinements previously offered as the Fiorano package (stiffer front & rear springs & stiffer anti-roll bar) plus 19" wheels w/Pirelli P Zero Corsas plus a smaller & lighter muffler/exhaust plus of course the carbon ceramic brakes (which I believe come with red calipers and improved ducting). Thought I read somewhere about a power steering mod, but I'm not sure about this. I've read only rave reviews for the package.

Perhaps you are right about the ceramics. My GT2 has been OK so far, but you always worry at the track about it. In reality, they aren't worth the cost since it is a lot cheaper to get a light weight set of wheels if reducing the unsprung weight is the concern. Rotors should be disposable items in my mind.
