I have a 2004 575M. I had to replace the dashboard leather 3 years ago...very pricey. The back shelf leather seams have now separated and I will need to either repair or replace. Anyone out there had this problem? What did you do about it? Cost?

Dick- Bradan will sell you a new diamond quilted rear leather shelf for ~$1200. Not sure if they are doing the standard ones yet. They are a sponsor here.

Bradan did a fantastic job on my diamond quilted leather for my roof and it looks great! Speak to Dan it's definitely worth it. I'm contemplating the rear shelf at some point as well. Has anyone seen the center tunnel with the diamond pattern on a 575? Was that even an option?

Sorry to this. Best of luck in getting it resolved.

This is a big-time issue in 612 models as well. :(

Sorry to say that Ferrari really drop the ball on this issue.

    A) never leave the car out in the sun.
    B) use Leatherique Rejuvenator twice a year

    Presto, solved.

I would have replaced it with a synthetic leather the first time. Most cars today use synthetic leather which will not shrink, fade or cause problems. Having real leather is one of my few complaints with the car, as you have to constantly clean and treat the bolster and make sure it is "hydrated" to prevent shrinkage.

You would think that by this time Ferrari would have corrected the sticky issues as well as the leather issues.

Thank you all for the suggestions. It's winter here so next spring I will pursue with a local upholstery shop and let you know how I make out.....I've also posted the same thread on the Bradan sponsored 575 thread.
