Any comments on the black 575M selling on BAT yesterday for $85K US?
You can look at the previous sales on BaT which can be found here:- https://bringatrailer.com/ferrari/575m/ Strip out Super America's and the disproportionately over valued manuals and you get a number which seems to be about what the sale yesterday made. I like the fact BAT leave the sales history and actually allow it to be actively tracked. Collecting Cars in the UK is noticeably removing selective vehicles from the history when they didn't make what people hoped or were bought by traders who now wish to sell on with a margin.
The buyer did well. The car needs some TLC but for that price, the buyer got a great car for a bargain price.
meh. a nice car sold on ebay ( i know the seller and thought about buying it) basically same car with modular wheels and service for $79. its in the ballpark but i wouldnt call it a bargain BAT has been a great sellers market as of late

The ebay car was a good deal factoring in the wheels. The BaT car was about retail from a non-Authorized dealer.
GTO parts in CA has done both a 575 and 599 (if i recall correctly) Competizione (sp?) in DC area has also done a car. Soren (fchatter) here did one himself. all the prelim data point to $25-30k cost
Aside from F1 vs. Manual & SA valuation. The general rule of thumb is $30-40k from bottom of market to top and 575M seems to follow suit with the general meat of the market in the $80-110k range dependent on condition/options.
disproportionately overvalued manuals! I like that piece of editorialising. Are those cars that sold for what is otherwise be known as “their value”..? I’m hankering after a disproportionately overvalued 812 GTS right now!!
Yeah yeah I know you own one and they do still attract a premium in the UK and Europe, say +40% to 50% over an F1 equipped car. However look at the mutliple over the equivalent F1 spec car in the USA, +100% to +150%. That's just daft and shows how insular thier market is due to age related import restrictions. Or a manual USA 575M is equal to an F1 Super America.
If its helpful, I've been keeping a thread of all 550/575 sales on BaT as I do my search, has notes and links. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/market-prices-575-manual-vs-575-f1-conversion-costs-vs-550.629834/ It seems real obvious there is a strong premium going on at BaT there is so much money out there looking for a place to go. Lot of rich guys shopping from home. It's been educational to say the least.
