575M, what year is it being replaced? Can you still order one to spec?

    Of course I was at the dealer today and forgot to ask these simple questions.

    How much longer does the 575 have?

    Can you still order one to spec or do you have to just accept what they produce at this point and hope the dealer can horse trade for what you want or close to it?

    The car is not being produced anymore.

    You're going to have to choose what's out there :)

    Wrong. Still orderable as of yesterday.
    Currently factory is building Superamericas, but once build is done, they are back to building 575's.

    Believe 575MM'S will be built until the 600 Imola is officially presented in March

    According to my dealer, no 575's are being produced as of last March. At least that's what they keep saying pointing at the last one they already have which is sitting on their showroom floor.

    Dealer is idiot. March started SA production, then 575M production resumes.
    Which dealer is this? Until they sell the one on the floor, they prob won't order another. Perhaps their last allocation for year, but they are orderable. I got my Shark after the Barchetta build, last barchetta is a 124XXX SN, last 550 was 1268XX.
    So, likely March 06 is correct. Prob Fall for 600 here.

    All SA and 575 cars must be in the US by the end of December. It is still possible to get them to make a 575. The problem is that the EPA certification has changed or expired in some way. The car would have to be re-tested (and possibly changed to a new standard) in order to be imported in January. This I heard from FNA although I did not ask for any details as it was not important to me at the time.

    This also goes along with the likelihood of a 575 replacement coming out soon.
