These wheels are 18inch the Modular Wheels which were an option on the 575M were 19 inches.

I think they are 19''. On the official pics 575 was pictured with new 19'' wheels and those were it.
As for modulars, they probably come in 18'' and 19'' versions

550 standard type (rounded 5-spoke) were definetly 18'' and maybe they were standard for 575 if you didn't want to pay for optional new style 19'' or modulars.

I just bought a 550. Do the 575 19" modulars fit on to the 550 without an issue? How much are they going for? Contrary to porsches it seems like you actually get a better tire selection with the 19" wheels. has anyone put spacers on the 550? I have someone that is recommending 30 mm spacers to enhance the handling and look, but that seems pretty large based on my past experiences with Gt2's. Thx for any insights as i dont want to screw it up.

Yes and I do not know.

Spacers wise, yes there is at least one person on this site with them on.

575 modulars will fit directly. They cost ~3500/wheel retail, you can find them for around 10k if you look hard.

Spacers, some like them, some don't. 15 in the front and 30 in back seems to be the consensus. Definetly helps aesthetically.

Dan-Thx for the feedback. What is it that people don't like about the spacers in particular? I am a somewhat aggresive driver (track about once a month) so I don't mind quick turn etc. Is there anything else that I am not aware of? Also is there any consensus on a tasteful alternative to the 575 mod wheels that aren't quite so pricey? or am I just better off waiting a bit and get the mods at the right time? I dont care for bling. Thx again for your answers, as I am new to 550s. Didn't mean to hijack the thread either.

Using spacers (a) reduces your effective spring rate, and (b) puts more stress on wheel bearings.

    MM,

The only thing that affects my spring rate lately is the pic u use for an avatar.

WTF does that translate to in layman's english :)

Dave, I haven't seen much difference at all. I don't track the shark, sadly, no time, but it won't increase WB load any more than different offset wheels. Spacers just move the offset from - to + by width of spacer. They increase lever arm of wheel/tire assembly, so they change spring pre-load, if you will, by moving load out a bit (like hanging a load from a hook vs hanging same load from hook extension...crappy analogy, sorry)
Here's mine, I have rears only, H&R's from Evo. I have spacers on Z8 as well, no problems. Again, I don't track, but I DO run pi$$ out of everything.
PS, where do you think Dave got his Avatar??
