575M Window problem

Car is a 2004 with 5200 miles. Last week, after giving it the final bath of the season, the driver side window lift started acting weird. The glass would drop every time I cut off the engine. When raising it with the door open, the glass would rise higher than it should preventing the door from closing. Now, it will not go up at all (mostly; sometimes it will but again drops with the engine off).

The lights on the window switches in the cockpit stay lit for several minutes without the key in the ignition. I checked the fuse and it is fine. Swapped it with the passenger side fuse and all is well. I did notice that there is a clicking sound, kind of like a breaker, when the switch is pressed. Sound is coming from somewhere between the fuse box located in the passenger foot well and the drive tunnel.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
