The very top end of wine auctions have little buying going on.
Those are my favorites kind of cars, the "trifle indulgent" ones! Here is a pic of the red/black Scuderia in the eBay ad. Nice color combo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pity, it's such a sow. Hopefully Ferrari will come out the other side and make beautiful sports cars yet again.
It's amusing some times to read of outright panic and outright greed. That old saying about buying when there is panic and selling into greed is correct. I suppose the real question is sorting out when. The requirement of a bubble is when you can margin (borrow against) an asset but others can't short it. That's what happened before. This crisis was a liquidity crisis for sure. But once the liquidity got turned on the market responded in 2009. That's at least when I went fully back into the markets. Forums like this are unhealthy as people talk themselves into a panic or a buying frenzy. Few people can isolate themselves from the crowd like buffet does. As for luxury assets, there may not be liquidity when you need it. Dont buy what you can't afford to lose.
It is a Superlite SL-C, a component car, like Napolis' SCG003s, except it has an aluminum frame and that particular one has an LS-7 engine. It is really good and reeeaaaally fast. Jacob Potts SL-C ? Superlite Cars
