    Hi
I have seen the body kit of the picture attached

I like the rear kit painted the same color of the 599

Does anyone know where do we order this body part and is it easy to install?

    Thanks a lot

It looks standard to me, just with the rear sills and diffuser paint white, so any good body shop should be able to do it for you.

I agree. Just match the paint color.

This one will be subjective like anything else with color.

To my eyes, there is a lot of mass to the rear of the 599. I love the car but thats how it is. The cut out for the Venturi fins helps reduce that visual mass. Painting it body color highlights it to my eyes- thus adding some mass. I think this is more pronounced with lighter colors, but even with darker colors, save for black, it helps make the car look more unified (which some will like) but to my eyes again, it just makes the rear look more bulky. I suspect this is why the factory went with the grey color.

That paint back there will take a real beating, too, and be hard to keep clean.

I would use plastidip with the clear coat. Protects the paint and can be re applied if there is a blemish. But lets be honest.....we dont drive enough for paint chips.

touche' I hope I got that right and not the french word for Butt.

Lately I have been on the road so much there are two things I miss.... my TR and the new Lab puppy. And of course my wife, so three things.:)

In the last 3 years I did find 2 small chips. I can live with that.

My front bumper looks like somebody sand blasted it. Time for a repaint soon.

Bob- I am a repaint periodically guy and not a 3M guy, except in the wheel wells/fender behind the tires.

I get it. I used to be as well. I bought a car already with clear bra at some point and then didn't mind anymore. Actually every Fcar I've purchased already had clear bra, come to think of it. This'll be the first time I actually paid to add 3M.

I have seen a few 599's with only the sides of the diffusor painted in body color and the central tunnel in black. IMO that's the best of the solutions. That is the same scheme as on the enzo and F430
