Someone will leak pics. It always happens.
quelqu'un d'entre vous aurais vu deja la voiture ? et la date de l'officialisation est prévu pour quand ?
still no pics, you guys are killing me. If you pm me a picture, I promise not to turn you into the Ferrari police.
I agree with AJ, because you can't find pics of it ANYWHERE online, even AutoWeek and other publications that were present don't have pics of it for public viewing. So it was obviously placed somewhere out of the public's eyes, which leaves time for Ferrari to have a big unveiling online for the general public, though who knows how/when they'll do it? As far as Ferrari is concerned, mostly everyone that FERRARI wanted to show it too has seen it by now, so we're the only one's left. Can't wait to be one of those people! Soon! Mark
My friend at the PBC text me this iphone photo of the Ferrari area.... but it is just a California displayed. I will kill him if he missed the shot.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I asked the guys at the Ferrari stand and they wouldn't even give me a smidge of information about the car. Kind of annoying to have the car hyped up for months and then have it not be debuted to the public.
The car was not at the Concours, there was a gorgeous blue 458, the white California, and a 599 GTO on the stand.
Got the *********** email before last week, hyping up the revealing of 599 convertible at Pebble Beach planned for the Concours weekend. Went to Thursday FCA show at Chateau Julien, no 599 convertible. Went to Friday Concorso Italiano, no 599 convertible, Went to Pebble Beach Lodge on Saturday, at Ferrari New/Concept area, Rosso Corsa 599 GTO, Blanco California, Swatters Blue 458 Italia, Orange one off GTS concept car, but no 599 convertible. Went to Sunday Concours D'elegance, back to Ferrari New/Concept area, same cars and no 599 convertible. Asked one of the FofSF dealer guys up near the GTO if the 599 convertible was indeed there. He claimed that the 599 Convertible was indeed down for the Monterey Peninsula Concours week, but was not at Pebble Beach lodge on that day (Sunday). He said it was shown at an off-site location on Saturday to only very selected clients and Dealership workers. I don't know if this is true, but it is what I was told. Anyway, I was more happy to see the GTO in person than a convertible 599. But as a true Ferrarista I would be excited to see any new model debut. Oh well, anticipation.
yes, we should be happy seeing a GTO which is only 600 made, while the fliptop will only be like 60 or 100 made. i see no reason why ferrari would show that car, unless they were really bored. they will sell the 458 by the tens of thousands, i think they can show less effort on that 599 spyder.
Yes, I know the 599 roadster was there. I know a guy who has 3 Ferraris and he still didn't get invited. The party was a very hush hush kind of thing and Ferrari confiscated all cell phones and cameras and only the wealthiest of wealthiest were invited. Hopefully someone took a photo and it leeks out soon, I would sure like to see this thing.
