Were there any differences in 2007-2010 599's?
I beleive carbon ceramic brakes became standard in late 2007. Starting in 2008, HGTE was standard. I think.....
HGTE was never standard,it was about 35K? option that was available in 09-10. All Ferrari(s) had CCB starting in 08..My 07 599s CCBs were a 18+K option.
I believe starting with the end 2009/early 2010 models, you could change the hideous aluminium bits in the centre console to carbon fibre to match the rest of the car.
1. Wiper blade 2. Electrochromic mirror(option) 3. The front and rear cavallino badge(matte chrome) 4. The front grille(HGTE)
The 2010 model was the first factory HGTE but a retro kit was available to update all but a few early 07 models. After the HGTE came the GTO'S, then about 88 or so Aperta's.They have continued to sell the 599's but with the 458 and the FF newer I don't think many 599's have been made. Now I think the are real busy trying to get out the 458 Spiders.
I, too, have HGTEs in my database that pre-date 2010 - though there's no end-all be-all verification method to confirm that they left the factory in this specification.
You can have it retro fitted (for a ridiculous price), but it was not available as an option when I specced the car out in 09. I actually specifically asked if they had the aluminium bits available in carbon fibre because it just looks so out of place compared to everything else in the car.
