    Hi Guys,

I've been visiting this site quite a bit but this is my first post. I have a 599 coming for delivery in Qtr1 '08 and it's getting very close to specification time. Fortunately I'm going to Modena for the factory visit next week which will hopefully help me make the right choices.

We have two nights and one full day in Modena. Anybody got any suggestions of "must do things" while we're there. We, being myself and a good friend. I'd really appreciate any suggestions of things to do at the factory, I want to make the most of the day that we are there. Really looking forward to going.

Thanks in advance for any advice given !!!

Do a search. There are several people who posted threads that have been to the factory lately.

The Ferrari factory is in Maranello, about 20 minutes away from Modena. Hands down my favorite place to eat there is Montana, which has lots of F1 and other car memorabilia and outstanding food. To get there, stand in front of the Ferrari store so that you're looking across the street at the old entrance to the factory. Drive to the left for maybe a mile, until you end up on an elevated section of the roadway. Montana is to the left, below the overpass (you get there by going over the overpass and then taking a sharp left back towards the restaurant).

Galleria Ferrari is worth a look, too, and you can always fence-sit at Fiorano and see if you can spot anything new and exciting doing test laps.

Welcome to the board! Where are you from in Cork? My dad was born just outside Kinsale. Can't say i've seen to many Fcars around there! Anyway the factory is really cool! and i've heard that the factory tour is really cool as well... Montana is a great place to eat. Modena is a really neat town and there are some excellent restaurants there as well!

Montana was amazing! Best Italian food I have ever had, and unbeatable atmosphere.

Also, go to the F1 museum down the street from the factory. If I remember correctly, it was down the same street of the Ferrari Store. I could have spent several hours in there.
