599 Front Side Lights

Tonight I finally got around to taking off the masking material from painting the front nose last week. Everything looked great until I got to the passenger side light and when peeling off the tape the red coating came of on part of it. Since the previous owner had done some modifications to the car I am not sure if it normally is red or is it the amber color underneath and they had put a red plastic material on top. Does any one know? Also, is the lens easy to come by and replace? Glued in or fasteners on the back side? Thx in advance. Image Unavailable, Please Login

 

For general info, I received by new one from eurospares.uk today and it is amber in color.
