Unless an other list is enforced. For me it is more #187007 (reg. EEO 29CA) but I give you "the benefice of the doubt" as we say in my language
I think #163812 could be eligible for the registry as the conversion was done using all OEM parts. And what about #151595? Lefteris
Depends if you want to make a registry with only factory manual gated 599 or a registry with all manual 599 My ex giallo modena # 146539 has not been considered as factory manual 599. I now understand why and I agree. Besides, my buyer pointed this fact out to me when he bought it from me, that's why he offered max 200K. What's about a F430 Coupé converted into a 430 Scuderia with OEM parts? What's about a 599 GTB converted into a 599 GTO with OEM parts? Etc.......
Technically you're correct, as far I know all conversions had modifications from the ECU side of things so I retract my statement of "fully OEM". Lefteris
The clutch pedals on the converted cars is always CNC machined, never cast like those on the factory models. It's easy to check. About EAG, I understand they use almost only customized parts absolutely different from the original ones. And what none of them have except mine is the modification concerning the "type". Even despite this and my multiple contacts in Maranello, they don't want to recognize it as manual...
Are non OEM pedals used for conversions outside of EAG as well? I thought the two chassis I mentioned had a factory pedal set. Lefteris
It's impossible. All pedals used for conversions with or without "OEM parts" are ALWAYS CNC machined. Why? When I discussed with the Ferrari dealer who converted my giallo, he told me he was lucky because 95% of the parts were still available in 2016. But Ferrari in Italy didn't have any clutch pedal and any leather console available, even in 2016... The ECU from my car has been modified at the factory. But NO recognition possible by the factory, sad...
I’ll check back in here with additional detail, but 163812 is indeed completely OEM, including the clutch pedal and pedal pads, turret, shift linkage and bushings, gearbox actuator, shift gate, center console, coin holder, clutch fluid reservoir, steering column covers, amongst other small details. The ECUs run factory MT software with resolved logic that executes the factory MT code which was written by Ferrari but not deployed correctly - Trevor has fixed this so it does manifest during use. Any factory MT should use this patched software to actually run as-intended. My 575 is getting converted right now with 100% OEM parts including the clutch pedal. Not sure how Exoticars does it, but somehow they do! Special shout out to @brogenville as well.
I would also advise MT 599 owners to move from the factory clutch master cylinder, which is Dodge part and woefully under-engineered. There are fully aluminum race applications that feel identical to the OEM Ferrari unit in terms of feedback, pressure, and pedal travel without having to worry about units failing. Plus it’s easy to have the OEM part sitting quietly in a box in the garage for authenticity purposes.
Pedal pads OK but clutch pedal, it's impossible. Also impossible is the lower center console (with leather not the one in carbone, I also have an original carbone console). When was this car converted? For the rest, OK.... I don't think Exoticars can find parts that don't exist better or easier than an official Ferrari workshop in Europe.... The 599's, 612's and California's clutch pedals are identical but no longer available (even in 2016 not available). Even the subcontractor who supplied them to Ferrari no longer exists. So either Exoticars are lying or they really are magicians.
This is an OEM clutch pedal. Look at this one from 163812, I'm 100% sure it is different because not cast aluminum but CNC mashined aluminium! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3452368

Sell your 575 and buy this one, it's maybe be better IF it's not a conversion https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/ferrari/575-maranello/2555320.html
this shows how difficult the price of conversion is ! For sale in May at $479,900 then in August (thru an other party) at $475,000 then lowered at $429,950 nearly 3 months ago
$429,950 ??????????? I think there is a lot of dreamers on this earth.... and the conversion to manual transmission has become a real business these days, it's becoming more profitable and less dangerous than selling drugs..... Each of us is looking to make money but making so much money so easily by doing a simple conversion is ridiculous. And whoever buys is even more ridiculous unless he's a millionaire and doesn't care about losing... But if I was a millionaire, I'd buy an original one for sure. And if I'm not a millionaire, I'm not dumb enough to spend $429,950 for a fake. I buy a 599 F1 and have it converted myself for 50 or $60,000
