The grille was installed shortly after its purchase by the first owner. So it's not OEM but basically installed since new. L.L.
Do you know if this is an aftermarket grill or just a OEM modified? I was doing a search online for this grill and found nothing Thanks
I believe it's a modified OEM part (factory grille cut up in order for the fogs to fit). I didn't go to such detail when speaking to the original owner, but he told me he put it since new basically. L.L.
To me looks like the OEM grill was modified. That grill and lights were never a factory option. Does look nice though.
"Did" look nice. Unfortunately the second owner removed the grille with the fog lights before selling it... Image Unavailable, Please Login L.L.
Looks like the sale was at a dealer who would have reversed the modification in order to sell. Even though this modification was not factory it did complement the appearance.
No, Ferrari of Kroymans ( the dealership where the car is now located ) didn't make any modifications. The modifications were made by the second owner as he told me himself. The intention for the modification remained the same though. L.L.

This topic inspired me to look through my saved posts from Instagram again. These are the Ferraris with foglights I've discovered to date. lusso is by @joemacari Tdf is by @ma.exotics F12 render by @fil_swb Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login L.L.
IMHO as a Design Engineer, the car shown in Johnny Vasquez's initial post displayed the best location and the proper size (diameter) proportion of the fog/driving lights to the fascia design. Anything smaller make the lights seem puny, while leaving its placement at the grill's end provides much greater light coverage. They fit the 599 best because Jason Castriota's superbly classic, timeless design is more retrospective of Touring's, Scaglietti's and Pininfarina's old Ferrari racing and GT car designs with twin grill lamps. However, their correct modification and installation are keys to success in making them look OEM. I've seen poorly installed fog/driving lights on tuner cars that vibrate spasmodically, which would make any "deer crossing its path bleat with laughter"!
Found this on the internet - no idea of who where when. I do like it although the lights should be further to the edge of the grille imo. That said however, the OP 599 conversion at the start of the thread is the best one I have seen, almost looks factory Image Unavailable, Please Login
