Yes (Its geared to go 250 mph). And its a giant supercharged V8. It needs to be in the correct gear, then it explodes forward like its posessed.
Yes, the CCR which was sent into Sport Auto's supertest had the extreme straight line gearing (0-200 km/h: 9.6) However the CCX which EVO magazine got, had slower straightline speed, but had far better flexibilty.
