Looking for tips on removing the Dash / Centre console / Speedo of a 599. Many thanks.

Also wanted to know if there is any link to removing the Engine and assuming the front end is all removed, how long would it take to pull out the Engine. Is it just a case of removing the rear Tube connector the gear box/ exhausts and 2 engine mounts or is there more to it.

    Thanks

Pretty sure the dash has been covered in the 599 section (not sure about engine - worth looking)

saw a few posts about the centre console. Will look for info on the dash . Managed to remove the centre console quite easliy. In fact I found a way of doing it without moving seats anywhere (someone had posted that you need to power up seats to remove central console). I removed the 13mm bolts for the hand brake plate and the brake could be pulled right up in order to remove the central console.

Couldnt find any info on a complete dash removal for the access to sticky and warped vents near windscreen.

Removed the complete system in around 6 hours with basic tools. Will try to take pics on the fitout and post them when done so the ones doing their vent swaps can benefit. Wasnt that hard and did not need to remove seats or handbrake to do it.
