    Here are some pix showing chassis and assembly numbers of the 599 GTBs shown during the 2006 Geneva motor show. Interesting that the last two digits ("20") of 146520 are smaller than the other ones.........in thirty years historians will probably call it a restamp.......

    The car used for the factory studio shots was S/N 146364, so far the earliest known chassis number for a 599 GTB. Here's a photo. Interesting that the badge on this car says in ITALIAN no. Matricola whereas on the cars shown in Geneva it was written in ENGLISH Chassis Number.
