Looks good with the Challenge-style rims! Was this a private unveiling? Were the pics taken secretly? Anyway, thanks for letting us have a look!!
It looks great. It is everything I thought it would be. The steering wheel appears to have the lights on the top of it similar to the Enzo. I like the Challenge wheels as well.
Love the rear's angular lines. The combination of angular lines and stacked rearlights is what makes the Enzo's rear so sexy, and their absence on the F430 is what makes its rear wrong (or not as successfully executed as on the Enzo, to put it mildly). Ferrari has realized that Lamborghini's modern, angular lines are the way to go. I can already see the rear design direction for the F430's replacement (Ferrari's next all-new model)... The front and its front wings now pronounce 'Porsche' more than ever, however. I hope their future models will have more unique front design, and take more cues from the Enzo or at least the 360/575 and not 612/this 599.. Just my two cents.
I love the Passenger's "OH S**T!!!!" Handle!!!! And I guess the sports style seats are standard as well? The interior is incredible, so much carbon fiber, almost so much as to be somewhat gaudy... but Ferrari put the perfect amount of it there, just the right amount. And I agree, the Silver color looks aaaaamaaaazzzzing on this car. As for the reds and such, I'm wondering if thats just a problem with the camera because none of those were exactly high quality pictures...

Great pics, Manny!! This car is so hot. I predict it will be considered a classic. That side view of the silver car is knee-buckler.
Thank you Manuma for the pics ! Really great. The car is really growing on me the more I see pictures. That rear end is really nice, and I especially like the C-pilar / " side wings". Wonder if they could do a cabrio but leave the arches that go from a-pilar to c-pilar (kind of like Bauer BMW cabrios), that would be hot IMO. And it would propably be more rigid than a "normal" convertible also.
One thing for sure. The Photo's Ferrari released aren't as good as these. This car needs to be seen outside in the light.
This car will be considered a classic in 20 years. The rear is a combination of Daytona and 275GTB. I want one.
I took the liberty of making a really crappy photoshop, lowered with F430 wheels. http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/9693/5993ry.jpg
The 612 should have looked like this, its a big, tall car thats for sure. It looks better than the Ferrari photos but I don't see this car making grown mens knees weak, or women admiring it for its beauty. Take away the F badges and the egg crate front grill you would never guess it was a Ferrari.
While the performance I am sure will be absolutely breathtaking, I just don't get the design (IMO). When the Testarossa debuted, although it was controversial at the time, it made my knees buckle. Not this car.
Interesting how we are all different. When I first saw the TR, it made my stomach buckle, now I really like it. Especially the clean versions like the Slutmobile. Does that mean that because I like the 599GTB now, I may not like it in 20 years? I don't think so. I really believe when someone pulls up in this new car, lowered, less busy wheels, everyone will know it is a Ferrari, and men and women will look with admiration.
Mark, Though I have yet to see anything about this car in person, I don't agree. I like but am not the biggest fan of the older 400 series GT and always thought it had to be in a specific color: silver, blue or black. AG512BB has an amazing example of a red and tan one. Perhaps even two as one is a convertible. As a former Maranello owner I always thought that the best combo for that car was red and black, not the famous red and tan. The current 575 examples LFSC and Continental have, ( silver/black and red/tan ) just don't do it for me. Just based on the pics alone and from my own experience in the car the 599 is replacing, I think the car would look amazing in red and black. But that's just my opinion. RocketBoy PS: As mentioned by others in various threads, I do not like those wheels at all.
The pics are simply wonderful. Thanks for putting them up. I still don't like the hood/lights treatment on the car but the rear and rear quarter view is much better in these than the official pics. I think silver/titanium, dark blue or black may be best--as with most "big" long nosed cars, red/yellows don't much do it for me.
"I see", said the blind man. Stunning. I can exhale now. LOL Many thanks for the pics. Forza, Cavallini
