Wanted 599 GTB or 550 Maranello in an interesting color

    The market is saturated with red, black, and grey cars. I'm looking for either a 599 GTB or 550 Maranello in a less common color--yellow, green, the right shade of blue, or even a darker red like Rosso Rubino.

    I completely agree. My first 3 Ferraris were all resale red. I would now strongly prefer interesting colours, resale value or not. Rosso Rubino can look so beautiful, no idea why more are not specced new like that. And Canna di Fucile on a 575, mmmm

    I do know you, of course, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car from you. I'm just not really into the 575. In fact, I'm now leaning pretty heavily toward the 599 over the 550.

    Not my first choice for color combo on this car, but certainly something to consider if other options don't pan out. Thanks!

    Wayne, a few years ago I was searching for a 550 and came across a yellow one for sale in my area. I went to look at it and was not impressed. It was too much yellow, especially on that front hood. I think it would work great on a 599 tho.

    I remember encountering a new giallo 550 in a dealer's showroom back in 1997 and immediately being smitten with the car. But these days I feel it's a color best suited to the smaller, mid-engined cars.
