Guten Abend, I just got my 599 in grey, cream leather. Before I had a 575M. After a break of 2 years with a Panamera (no good) I am back withe the Italians. The 599 has 33k Km and looks like new. I did a pre buy inspection from a Ferrari dealer not linked to seller. On the pre buy they noticed all suspensions so they where replaced due to leaking. Plus all arms. Car was a Hangar Queen so that may be the reason. They also found the cooler was leaking and they replaced all. Seller paid all repairs, it was part of the deal. We also did an annual service. On my ferry from Berlin to Nürnberg I got used to the particularities and differences to my 575M. On the Autobahn suspensions is perfect, in the city I find suspension a bit stiff and loud. May be because suspension is new. One thing I noticed and about which like to ask other owners for an advice: When I am in idle at traffic light I hear a strange noise. It sounds like fluid, water bubbles, or so so I thought it was from the AC. But it is not. Then I remembered they changed a cooler and it may be air in the cooling system, But why I would hear that noise in the cockpit ? During the PP Inspection the car was checked and teat driven, so I would not expect anything serious. Is this whirlpool sound may be a normal operating noise of a 599 ? Hello Frank and welcome to the 599! I know exactly what the "strange noise" is, and its perfectly normal. With the engine running, remove the engine oil cap and put your ear close to it Enjoy!
