Looking good Nico. That's one fine 599 you have there but I agree with others ... I would have opted not to put the GTO badge on it because ... it isn't a GTO and never will be. On the other hand ... it is one fine 599 GTB and there is nothing wrong with that ;)

    Thanks for the pics.

Great looking 599 GTB, no need for it to pretend to be something its not; it stands its own ground just fine. Great car.

    Thanks for your comments.
I knew for the logo I kept on the original rear bumper. We agree it never will be a GTO.
    :)

You really should change the steel wheel bolts for Titanium ones.
    Great looking car.

Thank you Mikearo. The wheel bolts I have are those specifically in Titanium for the GTO wheels already. They are grey and not black. I could paint them.
You are right: for the GTO wheels, you cannot use the original wheel bolts from the GTB, because the cone angle is not adapted to the holes or you can lose the wheels...
Moreover, the titanium wheel bolts are half the weight compared to the original in steel and the rims and the gums, you win a lot of weight, compare to the original Challenge wheels I still have.
    Best Regards,

    Nicolas

We Lexus enthusiasts have been interchanging model parts for many years. Now I see others catching on. Looks great. I'd do it too....minus the badging of course.

    Looks hot!

A couple months ago there was a Novitec that was lightly banged in the front. For the price, I was contemplating it. I was thinking of what I would do with it and the GTO bumpers are nicer IMO. So I would have gone that way. The car was sold when I called for it.

My idea would have been to remove the GTO badge. I don't know how it is applied though and realize there may be holes or removal may result in damage. As I look at the photos however, I had a different idea.

If it were mine I would consider changing the "O" to a "B". So that it would read "GTB". IMO it would be a neat thing to do. But alas, it's not my car.

Really nice car you have there.

Enjoy it in good health on the open roads. :)
