Just listed these from my own car in the Ferrari Adds section and on Australian eBay:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/502482-599-gto-genuine-wheels-tyres-titanium-bolts-centre-caps-complete.html

As new in every regard. Will accept US$10k for the complete set from an F.chat member. Take advantage of the currently stronger $US against the falling Aussie. (We were 1.10 to the US now 0.73!!

Freight will be at the buyers cost.

Direct fit for a GTO or a GTB without mod's and looked the business on mt GTB which I reluctantly sold this month. I have however kept my testarossa....

Are these an option for a 612 if the front tire size is swapped out ? Just wondering...

Lifted from another thread and upon which I based my own research at the time may assist your deliberations...............

The size and offset details are also on the castings for the wheels. You can probably get a similar OZ wheel in 5 x 108 mm bolt pattern in whatever width you need. Word document attached for your hard drives.

Hopefully this sheds some light, however not having had a 612 nor fitted these to anything other than my 599 I'm unable to assist more clearly. Looks in the ball-park tho.

Perhaps Tazandjan (whom I thank for assisting me and many others with the above collation), may have your answer?

    Cheers

Yes I think a lot of us have this saved on our computers, I know I have

I'm just wondering if the front wheels of the GTO will under the 612

Taz- Can you chime in on this one?

Moe- I think you would want to do a fit check on that set-up to be sure. Novitec NF2s are 9" wide in front and they fit fine, but not sure what that extra 1/2" would do. Looking at the MPSS tires, 245/35 20s, the OEM 612 and 599 size, will fit 9.5" wheels, so it looks like they would work, but it is not my $10K. I know the rear wheels can cause problems with GTO size 315/35 20s, but should work fine with OEM 285/35 20s or one size larger at 295/35 20.

So I think the GTO wheels will fit with 245/35 20 F tires and 285/295/35 20 rears if I were a betting man. For sure the 285/30 20 and 315/35 OEM GTO tires would be problematic.

Not an issue for 599s, obviously. Even the factory says GTO wheels and tires work fine on vanilla 599s.

That is a good deal on that set of wheels, tires and bolts. Those titanium bolts are over $2K a set.

Taz- I bought my previous 612 with the 9" & 12" HRE's it had, but swapped out to MPSS's and ran 255's up front and 325's out back- No Problems

My concern was the 9.5" wheels up front

As much as I love the Challenge wheels on my OTO, I've been thinking to do aftermarket wheels again, and these GTO wheels became interesting.

Not sure how I feel yet, but wanted to verify fitment.

    Thanks for your input ;)

Moe- OEM is nearly always better than aftermarket for resale, and the GTO wheels are OEM, just not for the 612 or 599. Not sure if John tried GTO wheels on his OTO, but he did fit 458 and HGTE wheels, I think. 458 wheels are a pretty good match, too, and there are several styles.

Thanks for the thought process guys. I must admit to having been an avid lurker on this site for many years yet rarely posting. Time I put something back in.....The site is a treasure-trove for F.Car owners and may-be-in-the-future owners thanks to you and people like you.

Its also testament to just how dedicated good people are to the passion they share. Has been helpful to me many many times and will always be.

I originally sourced these for my 599 looking for something to set it aside from the rest without depreciating the car. They did that in spades and will always have a fair resale value being relatively rare OEM. For example, try buying an equivalent as-new set of 288GTO wheels and tyres and bolts today......Big $$ indeed, yet it really wasn't long ago they were new and available in my mind.

We just may well see the world's first 612 on GTO wheels soon, who knows.........

Cheers and Thanks to all, Mark

Funny because I just purchased a mesh grill for my car- I'm not sure how it will look compared to the chrome grill upgrade with which my car came, but I suspect it will look GTOish & will post pix when available

I've always been partial to the GTO wheel and was gravitating to a set of aftermarket multi piece wheels in the GTO style.

For some reason, actual GTO wheels never crossed my mind; however, now I admit contemplating them, although albeit the wheel color has been the issue on my mind

Not sure I was trying to create a GTO looking 4 place F car either...but it has potential to offer a Good look

    Thanks Taz

Just curious- and perhaps blasphemous- Were they also available in ball polished?

    You sold a 599, but kept a TR?! :(

I assume this is because of the recent (and nonsensical) price spiking of the TRs and 308s - correct?

The 599 is a way better Ferrari than the TR.

Good luck on sale of the wheels.

The GTO WHEELS ARE NOW SOLD. Thank you for their consideration on this site.

Lets not start a 599 vs TR debate. The market has spoken on that already.

With 11 'discretionary' cars I decided to let the newest one go in our currently tough-for-mining times.

Emotion aside, logic was simple enough. Newer is more readily replaceable. Perfect classics are not so easy.

66821 is one of the original high mirror, single bolt cars and was dealer ordered in the UK and then delivered new in Australia at a 1987 sticker price of A$480k. At the time you couldn't order one from an Aussie dealer and they traded far in excess of the factory price just to get ahead in the waiting line. I'm its second owner for the last 16 years and have its full history from day 1. Few original series RHD cars were made with even fewer delivered NEW in Australia.

The car is unblemished in every way and I was in fact offered MORE for it than my perfect spec 599 from a buyer who wanted BOTH yet I still respectfully declined selling the TR. Some things just aren't for sale.

    Cheers
