It's such a great car! My favorite modern Ferrari. Its a shame the weather didn't allow James to push that V12. It provided great images, nonetheless.
Near freezing temps and wet roads? I guess if I was given the opportunity to drive one I'd take it, but not ideal conditions.
Were those race harnesses an option for the US market? I have never seen them here so I guess not. Can it be retrofitted with a new rear shelf piece?
Just the prices alone...''they are 600, 650 thousand pounds for LHD models...RHD? 7, 800 thousand easy''. 1 look at pistonheads shows he's just another boring youtuber overinflated pricing for whatever reason. Pistonheads ads start at 400K pounds (and they're low mile cars!), plenty of them well under 500K...and that's ASKING price. Most expensive RHD is 625K. When he can't even get such basic (and current) information wrong, how can he be trusted getting anything else correct?
Such as the “no glove box” : just press unlock in the center console and it will open. So many other BS. But he is right saying this is a fantastic car and is (and will remain) a collector car.
Exactly. And with you, it's a fantastic car and remains in my short list of best ever ferrari's. A collection not complete without it. I like how subtle it appears (until it's started up). No extreme body, wings or fins. Like the CS, everything was subtly different, enough for someone ''that knows'' to see the difference. I'd have it over the F12 TDF any day.
Exactly. Says the car is his friend's, not for sale, stored at this Aston Martin dealership called HWM etc...and guess what, it IS for sale at the very same place at not £800k but.....£435k http://www.hwm.co.uk/used-cars/9341624-ferrari-599-6.0-f1-gto-2dr/
Brilliant. So obviously a futile attempt to talk the price up for his buddy, and get more views....lol
Great car. Good video. Best part may have been the cutaway to the 599XX going up the hill! Thanks for posting. T
