I took delivery of my GTO today and one of the techs mentioned that the car was set as high as it could possibly be. It did seem a bit high so we compared it to my HGTE and it was in fact higher. We checked the other GTO delivered to FOA and it was the same height as mine. So, now the question... are US and European GTO's set to the same ride height? We could measure from the front and back corners of the side skirts to the ground... Any thoughts? M-Individual you have both, what do you think?

Ride height is normally measured from the center of the rear flanblock on the lower control arms. Only Ferrari has the specs right now as far as I know. Normally, you can lower the suspension on late model Ferraris 10-15 mm in conjunction with a full 4 wheel alignment if you think it is too high.

First of all, congrats with your stunning GTO.

I never really looked at this in detail. All I know is that per factory specs the HGTE is 1 cm lower than the HGTE and the GTO in turn 1 cm lower than the HGTE.

Optically my GTO looks lower (and wider) than my HGTE but I have never measured this. Tire size is indeed different and the front wheel arches are more filled because of the wider rim and tyres (adds to the more aggressive look). I never felt that the car stands too high compared to my HGTE.

Drive her in good health. How do you like the GTO so far? Impressed with it?

Do you plan on keeping the HGTE as well or did you trade?
