I understand Ferrari makes a profit, and a good one, yet, they are even stating a downturn and sales seem to be off....Only trying to say, that creating a few small releases seems to be more in the stars for a boost rather than, say, the projected sales like the CA.

wasn't the vast majority of that due to the stock options they held on VW? i doubt their profits from selling cars was anywhere near that...

 

Absolutely correct. Strictly speaking their net profit far exceeded their gross sales. Nifty trick but I doubt repeatable in any market, much less this one.
