FWIW do a search. This car has been discussed before, by no means am i bashing you, but just wanted to let you know before someone else comes at you with a bit more directness. As for the car, Mixed feelings, the body "enhancements" I'm not that fond of, the wheels, i don't mind, I wouldn't put them on my car, i would rather go for the Challenge rims, but whatever floats your boat. Two tips, fill out your profile, and also don't promote your company here unless your a sponsor. I am just telling you because i have seen other people chased off this board faster than Osama Bin Laden would be in the White house.

The wheels are nice the rest does nothing to improve the looks of the car - it is professional but still looks "added" on like a racer "kit". Best

mercedes, thank you for the kind advice. I will remember to do a search from now on. I wasn't tryin to promote any companies here just looking for a few opinions. Thanks again for being cool about it.

Hamann likes to add a bunch of winglets all over the car. They look bad IMO.
    The wheels aren't bad though.

    sorry, I'm not a fan...

to my eyes, most f-cars look pretty damn good right out of the box. wheels -- ok. An extreme body kit -- not for me.

I think it looks much sexier than the factory car. Gives it a similar appeal as the 430

Wheels are nice, the under the rocker panel add on is really tacky looking. Forget this Hamann kit.

I love EVERYTHING except the wheels. I'm usually not too crazy about what Hamann does to Ferraris, but I think they did a great job on the 599.

+1 I actually like the wheels alot, im a sucker for black wheels. The only thing I dont like about the car is the wing on the back. Not a fan of wings on Ferrari's, with the obvious exception of the F-40/F-50.

Ferrari spends millions on wind tunnel tests and engineering to get the car right, then someone always comes along and adds a bunch of junk to it. If that kind of bodywork improved performance/handling/safety, it would already be there. If it doesn't, it's no more than high dollar FastNFurious junk.

Changing the wheels can actually be dangerous these days. The computers expect a certain mass/size on the corners for the ABS/stability control/traction control etc.

Of course, none of this matters if you're just pimping at the club and don't really drive the car.

For what Hamann charges for their products I think it is a total waste. I like the way the wheels look, but I personally wouldn't put it on my car. I changed the wheels on my 430 once and I hated it. The car drove terrible, and they were a custom made fitment and design for the 430. I just think that Ferrari stock is the way to go. Also the body kit is so ugly. Why would you ever add a wing to that car when Ferrari spent millions of dollars in the wind tunnel to devise the best aerodynamic car. The wing not only is in bad taste, but it does nothing for the car as far as aero goes. Save your $30,000 and buy a watch.

cars, even high end Ferrari's, come from the factory with many compromises built in. Just because they were designed that way doesn't mean that's the absolute best. granted, many of the newer cars today are superb regardless. take the front splitter and ride height for example. they're set up to work in many places. depends on who you are, where you drive, you could most definitely 'add' to the car, or redesign, and make it better--more downforce, better response with less roll, dive, etc.... look at a GT1 car versus its production brethren. yes, that's an extreme example, but the point is, cars straight from the manufacturer are hardly 'the best' one can do--when certain goals, and needs are the matter. we've discussed this idea of 'purists' and 'modified' at length here, and despite many who think their cars are 'perfect' stock, the fact of the matter is they are far from 'the best' they can be. as far as looks are concerned, imo, the Hammann kit looks tacky...but to each his own. everyone has their own ideas as to what looks good, and to what is the 'ideal' ride and handling. me, i don't like tack-ons. redesigning the parts to look more integrated would be ideal, but then that would make them more expensive i suppose...again, that brings us back to compromises. but then again, if you want 'the best'...

I fail to see where his company name and phone number is listed. The Bin Laden comment that is pretty funny!

Regarding the kit, it looks nice!
