Wow, that is indeed a nice picture. This spotter sure knows how to use a camera (and he was kind enough to ask if he could take pics). It seems he must have been following me for a couple of miles judging where he took the first and last picture.

I'm in love with this little switch Carlo but 99.9% of the time it is in the same position = OPEN :)

Are you keeping the M6 now that the 599 is here?

    Indeed :)

How's the weather over there? In the Riviera it's rainy/snowy...and Northern Italy looks like Siberia :(

Not the most fun conditions for the 599...

No kidding Carlo. The 599 has been jobless since last Thursday. We got so much snow. I wouldn't even get it off the drive way. Certainly no 599 weather but I have been having fun with the M6 :)

So much for global warming ;)

A lot of hp, RWD and slippery conditions certainly make an interesting combination :)

I bet your M6 doesn't feel as fast as it used to now that you have the 599...

Indeed my friend but the M6 can't be underestimated. Not comparable to the 599 of course but still a fun daily driver. Not to mention the sound of the V10 ... with the Eisenmann exhaust, a high revving V10 is a joy for the ear :)

Indeed ... but we still have the X5 in the stable to do the dirty work ;)

I see that you have the 4 points belt (4har) on your 599
How do you feel with them on daily driving compared to the standard ones?
    Not too uncomfortable?

Getting in and out of the car is a little uncomfortable but there is a system for it. So once you have some seat time you get used to it.

Once you are strapped in, I feel as comfortable as with the normal seat belts. In fact, I like the feeling better as you feel more "in touch" with the car.

PS: paying toll on the highway in France is a pain in the ... as you have to unbuckle to reach :)

She makes my hair stand up every time I'm driving her. I just can't get enough of the acceleration, the sound, the gearshifts, ... the whole package is simply perfect. She is much more usable then my F430 and the performance is simply stunning. Well ... you know what I mean Carlo. You have one of these fun machines in your stable as well :)

Can't wait what the "GTO" will feel like ;)

Wow, congrats! Looks like fun times lay ahead for you :)

You will be keeping both 599s?

Thanks and yes ... I'll keep both as the new one will probably be a bit more radical to drive :)
