So my second F car purchased from Cali shipping it over to VA. Both sight unseen so hopefully this turns out as good as the first! I had the dealer send me high res pictures as well as shoot multiple high res video clips that he posted to youtube. With an 8 month and 21 month running around a trip out there was not in the cards A couple of pics sitting in the showroom floor. Love that exterior color you have chosen. I believe its the grigio silverstone? Most all colors look great on that 599, it is hard to screw up the lines of that car with an off color. My colors are grigio silverstone, corsa and white, look best on that 599. I also like the matt roofs as well. Congrats and have fun with the new family member.

Has the car arrived? I was watching this car when it was offered at Pasadena. What is your impression?
Yep the car arrived! Just got off the truck yesterday, couldn't snap any arrival picture as the truck was too big to get into our neighborhood with all the low hanging trees. The car is at the shop getting a root canal servicing, will be getting a full up detail and then it's off to clear bra, 9500 install, rims, exhaust and a couple of other tweaks Will post as soon as she's done but here's the last stock look So far I'm not all that thrilled with the dealership but I'm trying to resolve a situation and will post when I give them a fair chance to respond.
I can wait to see your pics after it is back from the dealer. I am looking forward to your statements/feedback about the exhaust and other tweaks. the interior looks good with that exterior.
Very nice choice, the 599 is a very good car. I drive mine 18000 km since I bought it in november the last year and it is a real pleasure for all the senses. Good luck on the road.
Thanks guys for the compliments! I was looking for a particular color combo and it had to be a contrast difference than my black on black F430 so this color combo piqued my interest the most. Was it the best deal? who knows, could I have spent more/less? probably but in the end it was about me getting the right car, color and with the expectations that I would immediately turn into my next project and ride her hard... no garage queens for any of my cars. I bought it blind however I had pictures and video to work with. I didn't get around to doing a PPI out there but one is being conducted now, clutch good, minor low battery errors so in the end nothing earth shattering as I had all service records and I had the VIN run at FOB where it was originally sold. So I had all the information at my hands to make a more than fair offer on the car. A rodent seemed to be camping out under the car and gnawed through a fluid line causing a leak, being replaced now and then off to the mod shop!
Congratulations on getting such a great car. Love the interior. I was looking at a 430 here in town which had a very similar interior. Enjoy your beast!!
