article in german with pictures: http://www.newsclick.de/index.jsp/menuid/2044/artid/11204496 The accident happened in Germany yesterday. Drivers of both cars were killed, others injured.
WOW tragic..Definately high rates of speed and wet roads. Odd how the majority of the damage is to the rear of both cars. I cannot make out what the other car was Audi or Volvo wagon maybe?
The cars were not supposedly not speeding. The Ferrari got off the left lane, crashed into the middle barrier, got back on the road and touched the Peugeot 607 and both crashed into a concrete pillar of a sound insulating wall on the right side.
I believe a few days before the 599 crash a German Novitec 16M was totaled on the Autobahn. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
this show shows all sorts of accidents, like helicopters, bicycle crashes, trees falling on people etc. with a little audience of five commentators saying things about the accidents. They showed a car show in Germany in an outdoor area in a shopping mall with tight space and some elder dude is driving what looks like a mid-engine Ferrari (couldn't see model) and he first runs over some guy yelling at him to turn before he goes off the edge, and then drives straight off the edge of the concrete ledge anyway into a store window. What is odd is that the accident is happening at about 5 mph but the driver seems intent to prove he can handle the car, ignoring all pleas to stop. I bet it wasn't his car either!
