The German car magazine Auto Motor und Sport shows an introductory date of October 2009 on a spreadsheet. Unfortunately, there is no further information.

Auto Motor und Sport is the most influential car magazine in germany. They know, what they write about; there will be an official altered version of the 599 coming soon made directly by ferrari,-- i wonder, that no one on this board has any information on that or is willing to deliver it. regards e
From what I heard it should be an "FXX" version of the 599. Not road legal. There are no updates expected for the "standard" 599 in the near future.
Mine? I'm not denying the car, quite the contrary. But it will not be street legal, at least not on US streets. Very limited production.

Yes! That's what i've heard from a Ferrari-guy! They will release an 599 XX - Version this year! And the successor of the f430 came out with an V8-Biturbo Engine!
Afraid I can't comment, I don't think that information is public yet. But I can say: less, more, less.
