    Where can you buy genuine MAF sensors in the USA? don't need the whole tube but just the sensor it self? posted in the 599 section but not many responses. Thoughts?

    There are many fake MAFs that are very troublesome. I would just buy the whole thing from the factory. This is not where you are going to save any money.

    Is there any chance cleaning it might help?

    A while back my buddy came by talking about how he needed a new MAF sensor and he already tried cleaning it with MAF sensor spray. When I inspected it, I realized he only sprayed the front (not the back side where the dirt was). We sprayed it again and blew off with compressed air and it's still working 100% to this day (almost 300K miles).

    How many miles on the one you've got and do you happen to know specifically was is not functioning correctly?

    The 599 gets a lot of oil blow back, and I keep getting various codes. They have been cleaned by my mechanic. its got 44 K miles...
