    Maybe...but not now.
In any case, it would be in addition and not in replacement of the 599.
Will at least wait until an HGTE version or special edition becomes available before making a decision.

Maybe put up a real poll.

As for me, NO. I will keep my 458, but I love having the F12 out there. It is great for the marque.

No! I prefer the looks of my 08 599. Can't warm up to the new look of the F12

There was no option to put up a real poll. hence my note "Mods, can we make this a poll please?".

    So can we?

I'm keeping my 599 for now and was a little disappointed in the F12 at the Geneva Motor Show. It just didn't feel special and actually a little cheap in certain areas. No argument with the power though, but that's not enough for me to change.

Would consider getting one but certainly don't envision the F12 as a replacement of my 599 GTO.

Probably would if I could afford to. Need to see he in the flesh, but I don't care for the rear end in photos.

Not interested in buying a new mass produced F car. Don't care how much HP. They are going to build at least 6K of them going forward. Might want one when I can pick one up for 75K...... I can park it next to an almost equally priced Aventador.

Wait until the HGTE version? It's the fastest lapping car Ferrari makes right now. At 1.23 it's about 4 seconds a lap faster then the 599 HGTE and 1 second a lap faster then the raw and track buster 599 GTO!

If you say your worried about 1st year reliability or you don't like the design...I can understand ;)

Just not in a hurry and don't really have the time to enjoy a second Ferrari right now.
Might as well wait until they make a "special" or "upgraded" version given the circumstances...

A GTO is also very tempting. I just didn't expect to like the F12 so much (judging from the pictures). It will be very interesting to see how it drives. I drove a friend's 599 GTO on Route Napoleon last summer, and it's by far the most exciting car I've ever driven. I wonder if the F12 can compete in terms of sheer driving pleasure?

All this being said, driving the 599 20,000km (12K miles) per year is still extremely satisfying and will keep on doing so until its wheels fall off...

You mean, it doesn't just drive like pumped up 599? ;) Sorry, couldn't resist.

The 599 GTB is a wonderful car and I quite simply love it.
The GTO, however, is a car all of its own. Those who define it as a "pumped up 599" do so out of simple ignorance IMVHO.

The 599 I've been drooling over for a year is still available. Wonder if it still will be later this year when my business uncertainties have fleshed out again. I really can't wait. I look at it every week or two.

I know the feeling. I'm sure that once you get her she won't disappoint ;)
After 37K+ miles in 3 years, driving the 599 still feels very special.
I drove her for the first time in 2 months today (I was away in the US) and I can't tell you what a pleasurable experience it was...

I love the fact that the F12 is smaller than the 599 - the 599 does feel a little too high and too large at times.

BUT, I just don't think the car has the presence I would have liked. I can't see me trading my GTO for an F12. I agree with a previous poster's comments - the F12's will be produced en masse, and these models typically depreciate heavily (a year or two after release when there is adequate supply).

I'll stick with the limited editions - they are the essence of Ferrari's to me. I wasn't excited by the 458 and chose to keep my Scuderia. And it looks like the same story again.

I can't help feeling like Ferrari is losing it's soul - producing great commercially viable cars - but with a cookie cutter look. Every model now has the same face - Cali, 458, FF and F12!

At least the 430/430S, 599 and 612 looked different enough.

The F12 looks like it was designed by a committee - but I'll reserve judgement until I go to Geneva next week.

i agree to a degree. i am getting the FF and keeping my 599. that's a perfect garage if you ask me. the F12? i guess we'll see but the FF has everything the f12 has and more to me in terms of mondernity....but my advice would be to dump the scud and get a 458. i did. between those two, i can't see how you could like a scud(if money is a non-issue). the 458 is a quantam leap. it's like when i drove a f430 coupe for the first time and sold my CS on the spot!!!!!

Absolutely, but I still think that the 599 GTO is one of the best Modern Ferrari V12s

Funny but yesterday, while taking my 612 out of the garage I thought exactly the same looking at my GTO. While the GTO has an aggressive, sporty look, the 612 is more like a sculpture and nobody will take a 612 for a 599 unless they are half blind or very drunk ... and even then ... I don't think this will be the case for the FF and F12 though.

Ferrari's intent was to move the F12 into the sports car segment and away from the GT. Using less of the FF's styling elements might have helped cement that statement in my opinion. But taste is so personal. We all have to decide what works best for us. I know that I have found a mix that makes me perfectly happy.
